There is an English translation! It’s called Monster World IV.
It’s actually the 5th or 6th game in the Wonderboy series, but having a female protagonist they just called it Monster World IV. The titles of the game are so messed up it’s ridiculous haha
You can get it on Wii Virtual Shop (I think) and Xbox360.
I’m playing the English version now! Game version in the menus says you can switch between NA, Europe and Jap so I’m sure there must’ve been a translation before too!

Monster World IV is easily in my top 10 Genesis games now.
And I’ve been playing through them all because I had Monster World 3 back as a kid. Playing Monster World IV though, is now my favourite.
Asha is a great little cute sprite of a character and the Pepe you get to accompany makes the game a little different to other Genesis platformers of its age!
Expect some Monster World IV fan art soon! Pepe is just too cute!
Also, i may do some Monster World 2 and 3 fan art too! Wonder boy was Adventure Island I believe? I can’t rememebr but I think they’re related!
I’m a bit peeved I can’t go back to the Earth temple once I’ve beaten the boss though, I missed a chest and thought I could go back to grab it. I’ll be pissed if they were Life Drops in that chest. I want max health because I’m obsessive about completion in adventure/rpg games.

Sunday night, while cleaning in my room, we heard some really loud bangs and booms from outside, and I had no clue what they were, so we figured they were fireworks. They didn’t shake our house or anything.
Apparently, a lot of other people heard and felt them also, and something broke two trees in half after the boom in Oshtemo, which is a little ways away from here.
What the everloving fuck is going on.
There was a really loud crash today, too, but that could have been something else.
OH HEY I WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS EARLIER. I heard the booms last night, too. I thought they were fireworks as well. But when I saw this news story this afternoon, I flipped out.
